New InterContinental Music Awards Logo Marks Evolution and International Reach

Los Angeles, CA — June 24, 2025 — The InterContinental Music Awards (ICMA), a global platform celebrating cultural diversity and musical excellence, proudly unveils its new logo — a modern visual identity that reflects the organization’s evolution, growth, and unwavering mission to unite the world through music.

Since its founding, ICMA has recognized and supported artists from across the globe, promoting music as a force for cultural connection and positive change. With submissions now reaching 68 countries, the organization has experienced remarkable growth — and with it, a need to refresh its brand to better represent its international community.

The new logo features a flowing, continuous design, symbolizing the eternal nature of music and the seamless harmony created when diverse cultures and genres come together. The color palette of gold and black evokes excellence, inspiration, and sophistication — qualities embodied by ICMA’s global network of artists and supporters.

The new branding is part of a larger transformation for ICMA, supported by the City of Los Angeles, which recognized the organization’s cultural contributions and provided resources to help ICMA scale its operations, enhance its digital platform, and build the infrastructure needed to support its growing global community.

In addition to the updated logo, ICMA has launched a redesigned website and refreshed branding for its DIY Music School, a program dedicated to empowering independent musicians through education and resources.

The new branding and platform updates arrive at a pivotal moment, as ICMA continues to expand its global footprint, enhance its artist support programs, and prepare for the announcement of its 2025 Finalists on June 30, followed by its annual Online Award Ceremony later this summer.
