Since launching in 2011, the InterContinental Music Awards has been driven by one mission — to recognize and support talented artists from every continent. Our goal is to promote unity, peace, and cultural diversity through music. The 2025 finalists continue to carry that mission forward in powerful ways.

A Truly Global Celebration of Music

Each year, we are inspired by the creativity, passion, and vision of artists from every corner of the globe. From pop and folk to classical, R&B, hip hop, and traditional music — these submissions tell powerful stories and reflect the rich musical heritage of each artist’s background.

This year, we received submissions from 68 countries. Our goal is to highlight artistic excellence, originality, and cultural expression — and to uplift voices that deserve to be heard on the world stage.

What’s Next: Awards Ceremony on August 24, 2025

Mark your calendars! The official 2025 ICMA Online Awards Ceremony will take place on August 24, 2025. During this live-streamed event, we’ll announce this year’s winners, along with the recipient of the prestigious ICon Award and its $1,000 cash prize! The ceremony will be hosted over Zoom and available to watch from anywhere in the world, continuing our commitment to accessibility and global participation.
