General Information
InterContinental Music Awards welcome musicians from around the world to showcase their talent and be part of this incredible celebration of music.
Our annual submission window opens September 1st and closes April 15th. Submit early and enjoy a 25% early bird discount if you apply by November 30th.
Each track submission has a $65 fee.
Submission Guidelines
Submitting to the InterContinental Music Awards (ICMA) is more than just entering a competition—it’s an investment in your growth and visibility as an artist. We’re here to champion your music and support you every step of the way.
The InterContinental Music Awards is dedicated to original songs, performance of cover songs or instrumentals recorded or showcased within last 5 years to ensure relevance or/and alignment with existing trends. The recommended format is mp3 or a digital link. When submitting, you can include details about the tracks in the Additional Information section of the submission form.
What about..
Film Submissions: If you have an original musical composition or soundtrack associated with your film, you are more than welcome to submit that piece of music. We do not accept film submissions or evaluate visual content.
Albums: The InterContinental Music Awards is a song-based competition. If you have an album, please select 2–3 standout tracks that best represent your work and submit them individually.

What about…Too many songs? You are welcome to submit as many songs as you like. Please note that each form can accommodate a maximum of 3 tracks/form. The audio content can be submitted as a online link (YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud) or uploaded in the MP3 audio format.
The competition is open to all age groups. Just note that participants under 18 need to send the parental consent form to complete the submission.
Post-Submission
You should have received a confirmation email shortly after submitting your music. Be sure to check your entire inbox, including spam or promotions folders, just in case it was miscategorized.
finalists will be announced by June 30 . After that there will be an online award ceremony over Zoom to announce the winners and the recipient of the ICon award.

Our judging panel will evaluate each submission rigorously and vote for each candidate solely based on their work. In general the songs are judged equally on innovation, composition, production, quality of track, and cultural footprint. Different categories may have alternative criteria based on genre and musical style 🎶.

The online award ceremony takes place in August via Zoom and is open to all entrants and community. Entrants will receive invitations starting after June 30th, following the finalist announcement.
Registration opens after the finalists are announced. And entrants will receive emails in regard.
No worries—your award eligibility is not affected. However we recommend designating someone to attend on your behalf.
If you can’t make it:
You’ll still be notified if you win
You can assign a representative to accept on your behalf
We’ll celebrate you from afar!
Technical Support
If you’re having trouble submitting the form—even though you’ve entered the same email in both fields—the issue may be caused by an accidental space before or after your email address.
👉 This often happens when copying and pasting your email.
✅ To fix it, simply delete any extra spaces at the beginning or end of the email fields.
Our submission form accepts audio uploads up to 15MB in size. If your file is larger than that, don’t worry!
✅ You can simply submit a direct link to your track instead (YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, Google Drive, etc.).
Just make sure the link is public or accessible so our judges can review your music.
